The Village Goldsmith – “Golden Giveaway” Promotion

1. Promotion Overview

The “Golden Giveaway” is a promotional event conducted by The Village Goldsmith (TVG), at their showroom located at 78 Victoria Street, Wellington, New Zealand. It celebrates 44 years of crafting original jewellery and is designed to “open” the Renovation Sale on Friday, 1st August 2025.

The first 44 guests through our doors on Friday, 1^st August will receive one Golden Ticket with a guaranteed chance to win either:

$1000 jewellery voucher (4 available)
or

$100 jewellery voucher (40 available)

Vouchers are single use and valid only for in-store purchases of sale items on Friday 1^st August 2025.

2. Eligibility

Entry is open to participants aged 18 years or older who are physically present at the TVG showroom on Friday, 1st August 2025 from 9:30am.

TVG employees and their immediate family members, contractors, and partners are not eligible to participate.

Each eligible participant is entitled to receive one golden ticket only and the number of tickets is strictly limited to the first 44 eligible participants to enter the store after doors open at 9:30am on Friday, 1st August.

To ensure fairness, any queue-jumping may result in disqualification from the giveaway.

3. How to Enter

The first 44 eligible participants who enter the store when the doors open at 9:30am on Friday, 1st August will each be handed a golden ticket.

Queue etiquette must be followed. Golden Tickets will be distributed strictly to the first 44 eligible participants who are physically present and waiting in line in an orderly manner on Friday, 1st August 2025 when doors open at 9:30 am. TVG reserves the right to disqualify any individual who disrupts the queue process, attempts to bypass fair entry, or acts in a way that compromises the integrity or enjoyment of the promotion.

Tickets will be handed out in order of entry and cannot be reserved or transferred.

4. Prize Details

Each voucher is single use, redeemable on a single transaction in store on 1 ^st August towards available item in the Renovation Sale.

- Voucher must be used in-store 1 ^st August, 2025.

- Valid for a single use on a single transaction.

- Not transferable, refundable, or redeemable for cash.

5. Winner Selection and Verification

All golden tickets will be shuffled randomly prior to the giveaway and will be handed out to the first 44 eligible participants as they enter the store.

Upon opening their golden ticket, each of the 44 eligible participants will reveal whether they’ve won either:

1 of 4 x $1000 jewellery vouchers,

1 of 40 x $100 jewellery vouchers.

TVG reserves the right to verify the identity and eligibility of the winner.

The decision is final, and no correspondence will be entered into.

6. Privacy

Personal information collected in connection with this promotion will be handled in accordance with the Privacy Act 2020 and used solely for the purpose of administering the promotion and any related publicity.

The winner agrees to participate in promotional photography or media opportunities. If you wish to opt out, notify a Village Goldsmith team member.

7. General Conditions

TVG reserves the right to modify, suspend, or cancel the promotion if required due to unforeseen circumstances, including but not limited to natural disasters, public health concerns, or technical issues.

TVG is not responsible for any loss, injury, or damage suffered as a result of accepting or using the prize, except as required under New Zealand law.
